Gold

Silver
• Chemical symbol Ag.
• Silver can be made into sheets, so thin, that light will shine through them.
• Silver can be drawn into wire finer than a human hair.
• Silver is unique in it has antibacterial characteristics. The health care industry consumes silver in a large number of products. The US military even uses it in their socks.
Platinum
• Chemical symbol Pt.
• The auto industry is one of the largest consumers of platinum. Using to improve air quality.
• Platinum mining reserves are very restricted with typical mining techniques.
• Some of the finest pieces of jewelry made, today, are made with platinum.
Palladium
• Chemical symbol Pd.
• The auto industry uses palladium in catalytic converters.
• It is one of the three metals (palladium, nickel & silver) used to make “white” gold jewelry.
• Canada is currently the only country making coins with palladium.

What is a bar premium?
The world spot price is the price for the actual metal content of the bar. The bar premium covers the cost of manufacturing the precious metal into a recognized form.
Just what is a “Troy” ounce?
A troy ounce is the unit of measurement for precious metals. The weight system was developed in Troyes, France during the middle ages. (500 to 1500 AD). All precious metals are sold to this standard.
Can non-members purchase precious metal through The PMC?
Yes, The Precious Metals Club Ltd. will sell to non-members, but the lowest purchase prices are reserved for the PMC members only.
Where do I keep my precious metal bars?
It is entirely up to you, however because of the value of the precious metal bars. We do recommend that you keep them in a secure location, such as a safety deposit box.
Is it difficult to exit the PMC?
Life has a way of changing our priorities, and regrettably you may find that you are no longer able to maintain your membership. We understand, just mail a signed letter, telling us that you wish leave the PMC and allowing up to 2 weeks for processing. Because the PMC is always looking for precious metals, we can assist you with liquidating your investment if required.
Are bars rectangular or round?
Precious metal bars historically have been made and sold in rectangular shapes. Although a number of mints have started producing round 1 oz bars, remember that precious metals are sold by weight, so normally the shape of the bar does not affect the value.
